Where It All Began
Jonathan’s love for design and craftsmanship began when he was just three years old, helping his father build a paver patio in their backyard. His father has owned a landscape company for over 30 years, and from those early days, Jonathan learned the value of hard work, creativity, and integrity. Everything he knows today was taught by his father — a mentor and role model he continues to look up to.

Though Jonathan earned a degree in Airport Management and Air Traffic Control, his heart always remained in the landscape world. Every summer, he looked forward to returning home to work alongside his father. After graduation, he received many offers in aviation, but he knew his true calling was in design. He continued working in the family business until he and Gabi married and moved to South Carolina to begin a new chapter.
A Leap of Faith
When Jonathan and Gabi settled in South Carolina, they decided to turn his lifelong passion into a shared dream — and Palms & Patios was born. Gabi encouraged Jonathan to follow his heart and take a leap of faith, even if it meant leaving behind a traditional career path.

Jonathan now leads the company’s operations and design vision, carrying forward the craftsmanship and legacy instilled by his father. Gabi complements his expertise with her background in Business Administration, Interior Design, and Landscape Design, helping clients discover their personal style.

Born and raised in Brazil, Gabi brings a vibrant, cultural influence to every project — combining creativity, warmth, and an eye for detail to create outdoor spaces that feel both timeless and inviting. Together, they design with passion, purpose, and heart — crafting spaces that tell each client’s unique story.
